These cutie patooties have a great youtube channel and promote a plant-based diet. I bought the cookbook under the assumption that it was a plant-based cookbook, and it is not. At first glance, many recipes call for eggs and various cheeses. I haven't given up on it, but I was disappointed to learn of my purchase error. I'll update my review after I spend more time with the book to determine what I can make that is, in fact, vegan at heart.

Don't spend $11+ dollars for this. There are no recies in it. You will have to buy the printed book if you want to know how to cook anything. Big booboo Kendal. A COOK NOOK should contain the recipies just like the printed version. RSPECIALLY ONE THAT COST ALMOST AS MUCH AS THE PRINTED VERSION.

I watch these guys on YouTube for plant based recipes and had to get both of their cookbooks which are both awesome and filled with yumminess. Thanks guys! Was given this book by a lovely friend and think it is FABULOUS!!! Have cooked/made loads of dishes from it already and they were all, without exception. delicious, full of flavour and very varied. What is more, if the rest of your family are not veggie/vegan, carb avoiding or dieting you can all still enjoy a great meal together. On a more serious note - the healthy alternatives to popular cakes like Millionaire's Shortbread are not only scrumptious but they don't leave you feeling as if you have over dosed on sugar and my type 1 diabetic husband found they didn't raise his blood sugar levels either! Go out and buy it today!

I adore this cookbook. The lasagne with bechamel sauce is amazing and my kids loved the butternut squash quinoa burgers. Many of the recipes require many ingredients and a lot of time so be sure to read recipe carefully before you start. This is my all-time favorite vegetarian cookbook. The writers' zest for healthy living leaps off the page and I am planning a trip to Ireland just to eat there!

I don’t like recipe books at all but being a new vegan I had to have some sort of a guide/direction. This is so easy to follow. I appreciate the way they put this book together. You really feel like you can substitute or leave out ingredients and it would still taste fantastic. It also got me out of the typical veggie box. I’m trying new things because of this book. I use this for self study. The beginning levels were great and super helpful. However in this level, the answer key does not include the answers for the listening sections. Free answers I get why they don't include answers, but answers for true or false sections or "write the words you hear" really?? How is anyone supposed to improve without answers? I can't just find a random Korean person and have them listen to the sections for me then tell me the answers. That's too inconvinient. Bottom line, INCLUDE ALL ANSWERS!

I'm most of the way through self-studying this book after going through the first two beginner books in a college Korean course. It works well with the workbook and online audio files.I mostly used this for grammar and some vocabulary, but there is a good mix of conversation scenarios, culture, and colloquialisms as well. As with just about any learning language textbook, it works best when combined with a variety of other study materials.There are also online resources for this book (answers, audio, etc.).

The Korean Characters are all blank in the Kindle version on two different Android devices. Samsung Tablet and Pixel Phone. The disclaimer does say that not all devices will work, but it does seem to indicate that Android tablets and phones should work. How do you get help from Amazon? It isn't clear where to lodge a complaint if anywhere? Just in case this was a one off I bought the kindle version of IK Intermediate 2. Same problem.Figured out how to get in touch with Amazon. There is a problem with the Kindle book. They are working on it.

Great resource! As I said in my reviews of the workbooks, the textbooks should also have an answer key for the exercises given in each chapter. I eventually stopped doing them as I studied because my professor doesn't grade them and there is no way for me to tell if I've gotten them correct.

I've been a beginner for around a year now and it's a great book as my commute is long. I don't have too many other opportunities to sit down and study other than during my commute and it's a resourceful text as everything that you need to know to complete it is within the book itself.If i must give a point of improvement, it'd be that they can provide more exercise examples within the textbook so that i don't have to spend more $ on a separate workbook.

I want my money back Amazon. The description claims this digital version is compatible with Kindle devices. I downloaded Amazon Kindle for Android devices to use it on my phone. And there are NO Hangul characters displayed here.

Great book for learning Korean. The accompanying website is a little lacking (needs to be updated), but overall a great buy. I do have a teacher that goes thru the book and workbook with me, but I think it would work perfectly for self-learners as well.

About the Author
Compton Mackenzie was born in West Hartlepool in 1883. He was educated at St Paul's School and Magdalen College, Oxford. During the First World War he became a Captain in the Royal Marines, becoming Director of the Aegean Intelligence Service. He wrote more than ninety books - novels, history and biography, essays and criticism, children's stories and verse, and was also an outstanding broadcaster. He founded and edited until 1961 the magazine the Gramophone, and was President of the Siamese Cat Club. He lived for many years on the island of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, but later settled in Edinburgh. Compton Mackenzie died in 1972.

In our analysis we study the Dixon-Coles model for the full-time scores and then we focus our attention on the difference of goals, since it seems to be more advantageous than modelling the scores themselves. We develop two basic models for the difference of goals based on the discrete Normal distribution that gives us interesting results as compared to the Skellam distribution. Furthermore we study the Dixon-Robinson model for the goal times and we investigate the possible clustering of goal times data. Using self-exciting point processes, we found that the scoring rate in a football match tends to be higher during the minutes straight after a goal has been scored. Our general results want to be a solid starting point for more sophisticated analyses.
